Bitfinex Enables Deposits and Withdrawals for Tether USD (USDt) on Polygon zkEVM Transport Layer

We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex customers can deposit and withdraw Tether USD on the Bitfinex platform using the Polygon zkEVM transport layer, effective from 8:00 AM UTC on 27/09/2023. This follows the integration of USDt onto Polygon zkEVM, a Layer-2 Rollup solution that combines data availability and execution verification on the Ethereum blockchain, ensuring the security and reliability of the L2 state transition. Please note the contract address for USDt below: USDt-Polygon-zkEVM contract address: 0x1E4a5963aBFD975d8c9021ce480b42188849D41d. USDt-Polygon-zkEVM is a bridged asset on the Polygon zkEVM. It is not issued by or redeemable with Tether. Bridged versions of Tether tokens are third-party services and technology within the meaning of Tether's Terms of Service.Polygon PoS and Polygon zkEVM are two different chains, and customers should exercise extreme caution when sending funds using these chains. Please ensure that you are using the correct token contract address and chain. Bitfinex customers are now able to deposit USDt across 16 blockchains and withdraw USDt across 13 blockchains*. This expanded accessibility encompasses prominent blockchains such as Algorand, Avalanche, Bitcoin Cash's Simple Ledger Protocol , Ethereum, EOS, Liquid Network, Omni, Polygon, Tezos, Tron, Solana, Polkadot, Kusama, the Near Network, Kava and now, zkEVM. * Withdrawals of USDt on Kusama, Bitcoin Cash SLP, and Omni Layer blockchains are no longer being supported as of 01/09/2023.
