To enable certain of its customers to pay for cloud services with cryptocurrencies, Google has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.

The strategic alliance also aims to meet the demands of the expanding Web3 ecosystem. For instance, programmers would be able to manage Web3 networks instantaneously and consistently, doing away with the requirement for intricate and pricey hardware.

In order to support improved exchange and internet services, Google Cloud will also act as Coinbase's strategic cloud provider. The report states:

“Coinbase will use Google Cloud's powerful compute platform to process blockchain data at scale, and enhance the global reach of its crypto services by leveraging Google's premium fiber-optic network.”

Additionally, for machines having to learn cryptocurrency insights, customers of Coinbase will use the data and analysis capabilities of Google Cloud.

“We are excited Google Cloud has selected Coinbase to help deliver Web3 to a new set of customers and give powerful solutions to developers,” said Brian Armstrong, the CEO and co-founder of Coinbase, in a statement expressing his company's support for the strategic partnership.

“With more than 100 million verified users and 14,500 institutional clients, Coinbase has spent more than a decade building industry-leading products on top of blockchain technology. We could not ask for a better partner to help execute our vision of building a trusted bridge into the Web3 ecosystem.”

Additionally, Coinbase users will access Google Cloud's data and analytical tools for machine learning to discover bitcoin insights.

In a comment supporting the strategic alliance, Coinbase CEO and co-founder Brian Armstrong said, “We are excited Google Cloud has selected Coinbase to help provide Web3 to a new group of users and give powerful solutions to developers.”

“We're proud Coinbase has chosen Google Cloud as its strategic cloud partner, and we're ready to serve the thriving global Web3 customer and partner ecosystem.”

After putting together a team to offer services for developers early this year, Google launched Web3 as a result.

Given that Web3 Innovators have created peer-to-peer and decentralized networks meant to revolutionize the internet, Google wants to capitalize on the possibilities offered by the cryptocurrency field, according to Blockchain.News.
